The terrain of the Jukola Relay is compared mostly to the terrain of the Venla relay, but the course planner Kai Hirvonen promises that there are also some surprises on the route.

- Venla Relay already told a lot about the terrain. Of course the Jukola Relay differs from it, but mostly there will be expected same as in the afternoon. There are going to be a few surprises too, Hirvonen says.

According to Hirvonen there have been taken into consideration in course planning the competitors who are in different level.

-I could say, that this terrain prefers good competitors, who are in a very good condition. But also the others will manage, tells Hirvonen.

The course planner thinks that the time per kilometer is about 5 minutes.

­-at the beginning it may take a little bit longer, but on the lightly legs they run faster, Hirvonen comments.
