Olav Lundanes kept Halden SK still in the lead. Halden took the lead of Jukola during the second leg, and has kept it since.

Fabian Hertner of Kalevan Rasti ja Holger Hott from Kristiansand OK chased Halden passionately. They managed to narrow the gap to less than three and a half minutes.

Halden’s anchor Emil Wingstedt is now chased during the last 16.5 km by Thierry Guergiou and Daniel Hubmann.

IFK Göteborg had to give up a little, as it exchanged as fourth. Vehkalahden Veikot was fifth, with almost 11 minutes behind the lead.

Lundanes was in the lead for the whole time, but despite this the youngster was scared. He had to look over his shoulder to and see whether the others will catch up.
“I was extremely nervous. This was not the best day for me, and I made a few mistakes in half way of the leg”, he confessed in the finish. He estimated to have lost about a minute due to the mistakes he made.
