The winner team Kristiansand OK is an effective mixture of Norwegian and Central European orienteering skills. Three members of the team are from Norway, others are from abroad.

Kristiansand is situated in South Norway.

Orienteering team was composed of Jon Duncan, Audun Nils Bjerkreim, Baptiste Rollier, Jostein Andersen, Renard Damien, Holger Hott and Daniel Hubmann. Anchor Daniel Hubman lives abroad, all the other team members live in Norway. Swiss Hubman said that their win is based on training together, good coaching and organization.

Orienteers that ran the first legs concentrated on infallible orienteering. They succeeded well, expect Rollier who ran the third leg. He said making a lot of mistakes.

“Course was good. The terrain was easy to run and had a lot of paths, like in Central Europe”, Rollier said.

Achor Daniel Hubman concentrated on his own orienteering straight from the beginning.

“ I did not think about it that I started at the same time as Thierry Gueorgiou, neither that Emil Wingstedt was three and half minutes ahead me.”

In the final part of the course it was possible to run fast, because the controls were quite easy. I really enjoyed running”, Hubmann said.

Hubmann was very happy to win in Jukola. He says that the competitions of Tiomila and Jukola are quite different. In Tiomila there is more night orienteering than in Jukola whereas Jukola is better organised.
