The Competition Manager Juhani Sihvonen was satisfied with the whole Jukola weekend. As a whole, Jukola was organised very well. All the functions like the maintenance, the supporting measures and the arrangements were supporting each other very well.
The Horse Racetrack as a competition area was functional and audience friendly,
because the view to the track was excellent. There are already versatile and functional
premises at the Horse Racetrack. Especially the Sauna premises and the dining services
received a good feedback.
Sihvonen was thankful for the volunteers’ commitment and cooperation. Many of the volunteers wanted to explode the unique opportunity to participate the Jukola. Sihvonen couldn’t say what he would have done differently and he was satisfied with his choices.
The unloading of the area starts straight after the competition ends. The work is done
together in the same way as it was built. The transportation of the materials starts soon to Hyvinkää. Also the final reporting starts.
If I could give a hint for the next Jukola organisers: provide the organisers with multiple pocket jackets where you can keep all your belongings such as several mobile phones and other accessories, Sihvonen laughs.
